Miscellaneous

  • Ballard’s foot peg wideners
  • XR’s Only bash plate and case saver
  • Easy-pull levers
  • Magnetic drain plug
  • Replacement choke butterfly (the stock butterfly breaks and causes headaches when sucked into the engine).

Hints / Tips

If you are thinking of doing a USD fork conversion try the CRM forks, they will save any frame modifications. The YZ rear guard looks a treat but it means you have to take out the underside bracket and cut then re-weld the frame. The guard is stiff enough without it, even with the WR taillight extension. The seat improvements are great and feels like an mx-er seat.

Future mods include Mikuni flat-slide carb and Vortex dual curve ignition, but at the moment the bike has loads of power. It eats XR650’s and WR400’s.
