A 'Top Tip':  Don't try this with an old bike. Start with a newer model, I wish I did!

Two XR 600's '98 and '87, on an Overland Odyssey through Morocco and the Western Sahara, Tanger to Dakhla. The trip will take three weeks and is the biggest thing I have ever done on a bike.  From the Atlas mountains to the Sahara Dunes, we are taking a digital Vid camera to record the encounters and adventure along the way.

The "During" Information:

  •  Acerbis 22ltr Tank for 88 onwards fitted to an 87. Required the shaving back of the seat and due to the larger CR triple clamps the manufacture of longer tank brackets to mover the tank slightly further back to avoid impact.
  • Inverted front forks and wheel from a '89 CR 250R
